ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – An Albuquerque neighborhood is finally getting a much needed pathway to Tingley and the Bosque. The Barelas Pedestrian Bridge project is scheduled to be completed.
People in the Barelas neighborhood asked the city to build a bridge to help them get to the trails and other areas near the Bosque. The bridge runs over the Albuquerque riverside drain and leads to a path up Tingley drive.
Officials say the bridge will be completed Saturday morning.
