Police search for suspect in Farmington car-tipping

FARMINGTON, N.M. (KRQE) – Investigators in Farmington want to find the person responsible for playing an expensive joke on a resident there.

On Saturday, officers were dispatched to a home on the 4700 block of Sundown Road and found a newer model Fiat flipped on its side.

Police believe the tipping happened overnight Tuesday.

The damage was extensive.

Car-tipping is a national trend right now, and in many cases, smart cars are targeted.

Car-tipping is classified as felony vandalism.

Those with any information on this incident are asked to call Farmington police.
