Crews work on school air conditioners

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – APS crews are getting air conditioners working for students.

Crews will walk on school roofs to make sure everything is ready to go.

APS says they will work through the weekend if that’s necessary.

They do say the recent rain has slow down some projects.

“It has delayed some of our roofing projects to be totally complete,” said John Dufay, APS executive director. “We’ve got them dry, and we’ve got a number of them ready to go. There’s a few that we still haven’t quite finished.”

Though he says they are still working on roofs projects, they should be completed enough to allow kids to learn comfortably.
