APS trying to fill hundreds of vacant jobs

One week until the start of school APS is still trying to fill hundreds of vacant spots.

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – Albuquerque Public Schools starts in just one week and APS is still looking to fill vacant spots. News 13 spoke with APS Wednesday and they still have “high need” positions to fill in math and science.

The district held a job fair late last month, its first one in four years. The open posts include 75 jobs in elementary schools, more than 25 in middle schools and 20 in high school. There are almost 100 positions open for Special Education as well.
