AHS football excited about fresh start

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – Albuquerque High first year coach Curtis Flakes has plans to make his Bulldogs a winner. It’s been a long time for the school which has endured a won loss record of 1 and 39 since 2010.

Flakes, a former Lobo football player, has hired some of his former teammates to help get the job done. Players are buying in and believe Flakes will get them where they need to go.

The Bulldogs open the season against the Cibola Cougars August 29 at Community Stadium in Albuquerque.
