Attendance doubles at Tase of ABQ event

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – The Taste of Albuquerque was a hit in ABQ Uptown on Saturday.

Hundreds of people filled the shopping center looking for a bite to eat.

The one-day food festival features the finest restaurants, wineries and local breweries in the city.

Visitors say it was a perfect way to try some new food.

“We’ve been able to try different things that we wouldn’t have otherwise gone into to taste. It’s been wonderful. It’s been a fun day,” said Maria Paiz.

Organizers say the festival – now in its second year – keeps growing.

They saw double the turnout from last year.
