ALGODONES, N.M. (KRQE) – Sandoval County has also been getting the brunt of these recent storms.
On Monday, the commission will hold an emergency meeting to declare a state of emergency in
Algodones after heavy rains left neighborhoods there a mess.
It started July 23 when more than an inch of rain fell in less than an hour washing away a canal, leaving homes and yards flooded.
Six days later, another big storm struck and caused more damage.
