ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – A big day for Tim Harris, owner of Tim’s Place in Albuquerque. He gave President Obama one of his signature hugs last night. Tim is the only person in the United States with Down Syndrome to own a restaurant. He got to meet the president during a news conference in Washington yesterday’s celebration 46 years of the Special Olympics. Way to go Tim!

Search and rescue crews continue to look for a missing Santa Fe woman who went missing while hiking on the Windsor Trail near the ski basin. Audrey Kaplan and her husband left Wednesday morning. We’re told Kaplan’s husband got tired and went back to the car without his wife, but she never came back.

All this rain and flooding has forced Taos to declare a state of emergency. The county manager says flash flooding has damaged some roads and several homes. They’re telling people in the area who need sand bags to pick them up at county offices.
