Firehouse Subs collects water for firefighters

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – The three Albuquerque Firehouse Subs locations are collecting cases of bottled water tomorrow for its H2O for Heroes campaign.

Anyone who brings a case of bottled water to one of the restaurants leaves with a free medium sandwich.

All of the water goes to local fire departments to use or hand out when they’re responding to calls.

Management says the company has been collecting water in other cities but this is the first year the campaign hits New Mexico.

People can make their donations from 10:30 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.

Firehouse works with all of the AFD firehouses, Bernalillo County Fire Department and Corrales firefighters.
