SFPD seeks person of interest in fatal hit and run

SANTA FE (KRQE) – Santa Fe police are searching for a woman they want to talk to about a deadly hit and run accident.

The collision happened east of Camino Consuelo on Cerrillos Road on Sunday night when 59-year-old Lawrence Miera was killed.

Police are now looking for 46-year-old Barbara Hanna.

The car they believe was involved in the crash is a green 2005 Subaru Forester and it was found in the Wal-Mart parking lot a short time later.

Surveillance pictures show the driver walking away from the car and police believe it’s Hanna and want to talk to her.
