Lobos QB Gautsche eager to stay healthy for 2014 season.

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – One player that is buying in is junior Cole Gautsche, the Cleveland Storm product who is coming off a year where the quarterback rushed for 777 yards but was limited to just five starts in nine games due to injuries.

Gautsche missed a couple of games due to concussion like symptoms and is known for his physical style in running however that may change.

The 6-foot-4 quarterback says he enjoys rumbling over defenders however he’s going to start thinking twice.

“I don’t want to stray too far from my play style because that’s how I love to play the game and that’s how I love to do it and if I don’t do it I don’t feel like I am playing football anymore. It’s just something I will have to get used to a little bit, but it will, it will be fine,” Gautsche said.
