Woman arrested for stabbing boyfriend multiple times

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – An Albuquerque woman is behind bars for stabbing her boyfriend during a fight.

Police say Lucy Kowalchuk was found hiding in a storage shed in the 5600 block of Everett NW after her boyfriend contacted police.

Officers found Kowalchuk’s boyfriend with several stab wounds to his head, arms and back. In addition to the stab wounds, the man also had a large bite wound on his arm from where Kowalchuk had bit him police say.

The man told police the fight began when Kowalchuk accused him of sleeping with her 22-year-old daughter and paying her with spice.

APD says the man was taken to a local hospital for treatment. Kowalchuk was arrested and charged with aggravated battery against a household member.

Police say Kowalchuk has several other aliases including Lucy Juanita Aragon.
