Chris’ Saturday Evening Forecast

Heavy rain is falling in parts of Northeastern New Mexico tonight.  The rain is prompting some flood advisories tonight so be sure to give yourself extra time if you find yourself in heavy rain, stay away from arroyos, and don’t cross flooded roads.   Storms will come to an end overnight and then the skies will clear out some.

A cold front will move in Sunday night and that will bring in moisture along with a better shot for scattered storms.  This front will push south and west into Albuquerque and pick up the canyon winds.   By Monday, our chances for hit and miss storms will improve statewide and it could be the start of a very rainy week!  Stay tuned!!
