AFD responds to early morning house fire.


ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – Flames and smoke displaced some Albuquerque residents early Saturday morning.

According to the Albuquerque Fire Department firefighters arrived to the structure fire in the 200 block of San Pablo NE just before 5:30 a.m. Saturday. Officials say heavy smoke and flames could be seen at the front of the house.

The blaze was controlled quickly and firefighters were able to contain the fire to a front room of the house.

All three residents were able to get out of house quickly. One was treated for minor smoke inhalation AFD said. The others were unharmed.

Investigators are working to determine the cause of the fire at this time.
