Lawsuit filed over 2 Santa Fe endangered species

SANTA FE (KRQE) – Environmentalists from Santa Fe have filed a lawsuit against the Feds over two endangered species.

The lawsuit, filed Thursday, accuses the agencies of failing to protect the habitats of the silvery minnow and the southwestern willow flycatcher.

Wild-earth guardians said the feds broke their promises to keep enough water in places, like the Rio Grande, where the two species live.
