Former youth volunteer pleads guilty to child solicitation

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – An Albuquerque youth camp volunteer arrested for inappropriate contact with underage girls has pleaded guilty.

In 2012, Ricardo Cambise showed two young girls sexually explicit pictures while they were all at a pumpkin patch at the Galloping Grace Youth Tanch.

He also slapped the buttocks of another underage girl.

He was arrested after the mother of one of the girls found text messages to her daughter from Cambise.

Police set up a meeting pretending to be the girl and Cambise showed up with condoms.

Cambise pleaded guilty to child solicitation and contributing to the delinquency of a minor.

He’s scheduled to be sentenced October 20, 2014
