Joc Pederson homer gives Isotopes a win

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – Isotopes outfielder Joc Pederson made team history Wednesday night becoming the first player on his team with a 20/20 season, homers and stolen bases. He added to that history Thursday, leading his team to a come from behind win against Fresno with one stroke.

With the Isotopes trailing 7 to 4 in the bottom of the eighth, Pederson parked a ball over the right field fence with the bases loaded. The grand slam was the first for the Isotopes this season and helped the team win the game 8 to 7 and the series three games to one.

Dating back to the final series of the season first half, the Isotopes have won 8 of their last 11 games and are on the road at Reno for a four game series starting Friday.
