SANTA FE (KRQE) – A memorial service has been scheduled next week for three people killed in a medical helicopter crash.

Flight nurse Jamie Butler, Flight Paramedic Rebecca Serkey and Pilot David Cavigneaux were flying from Christus St. Vincent Hospital in Santa Fe Thursday to pick up a patient in Tucumcari.

They never made it. Wreckage of their helicopter was found hours later on a rocky mesa off I-40 near Newkirk.

The FAA and NTSB are still investigating.

A memorial service is now planned for next Wednesday in Santa Fe at the Capital High School football stadium. Services begin at 9:00 a.m.
