1 injured in overnight ABQ shooting

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – Albuquerque police responded to the scene of an overnight shooting in southeast Albuquerque near Girard and Coal off of Vassar.

Just before 3 a.m. Wednesday, police say a fight escalated when one person pulled a gun. Police say one person was shot multiple times.

An officer on the scene said that person’s condition is stable at this time.

Police say the suspect took off before police got there, but soon returned and is now in custody.

The relationship between the two is unknown.

At one point, a pregnant woman was escorted out of the house and into an ambulance.

It’s not known how she was injured.
