State enforces parking following News 13 investigation

SANTA FE (KRQE) – There was plenty of parking Tuesday at a state lot in Santa Fe near Cowgirl Barbeque in the wake of a Larry Barker investigation.

Monday night Larry showed how Larry Campos, a high-ranking state official, was allowing workers at the bar and restaurant to use the lot and some even had counterfeit parking passes.

Sources tell News 13 Campos has bragged about getting free meals but he denies that and so does the restaurant.

The state is now putting up signs and enforcing the parking rules in the lot which is right in the middle of a major tourist area that has a severe parking shortage.
