Reward offered for info in dog abuse case

Fonzi was found with a chain wrapped tightly around his neck. He later died now officials are offering a reward for information.

LAS VEGAS, N.M. (KRQE) – New Mexico Animal Protection is offering a reward for information about a dog News 13 told you about a couple months ago.

A good samaritan found Fonzi, a terrier mix with a chain imbedded in his neck in Las Vegas, New Mexico.

Animal protection says it was clear he had been neglected and abused for several years.

He also had infections, suffered from seizures and had large masses.

Vets eventually had to euthanize him.
