Police arrest man in Roswell bribery case

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – A man accused of bribing a public employee is behind bars. Roswell police say 29-year-old Josh Aguirre was arrested over the weekend.

As KRQE News 13 first reported Friday, Aguirre is accused of giving a Roswell Animal Control receptionist money for her to sign off on his court ordered community service hours.

The former receptionist 25-year-old Angela Martinez was arrested last week for the alleged bribes.

Detectives say they have video of one of their exchanges…they’re still trying to find out if other people paid bribes to Martinez.
