NM hotel featured on ‘Hotel Hell’

LAS CRUCES (KRQE) – The national TV show “Hotel Hell” turned its sights on a New Mexico hotel Monday night.

Chef Gordon Ramsey was at Meson De Mesilla in Las Cruces. His show focuses on what are supposed to be America’s worst hotels. Ramsey helps them fix problems ranging from food to bad management.

At Meson De Mesilla he was unhappy with a desk clerk who wouldn’t let him check in unless he signed a damage waiver. He also didn’t like the food. And he called the owner a “wannabe Cher” for her constant singing and karaoke.

Despite all that the hotel held a viewing party which was packed Monday night.
