CARLSBAD, N.M. (KRQE) – Tourism at Carlsbad Caverns is bringing big dollars to the state.
The National Park Service says in 2013 visitors spent more than $23 million there.
According to a new study released by the National Park Service, that money helps support more than 300 jobs in Carlsbad.
The study also says more than 388,000 people visited the park last year. Around 94 percent of them were not locals.
