Demonstrators voice opinions on immigration crisis

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – Across the nation demonstrators against amnesty and the surge of immigrants crossing the border are staking up on overpasses to voice their opinion.

New Mexicans took part too.

In Albuquerque protestors stood on the pedestrian bridge over Interstate-40 near Louisiana.

Some held signs saying “deport” and “U.S. border for sale”.

Protesters say they want to see the border closed off and a fence built so u-s authorities can control who’s crossing it.

Just one overpass down, a group of immigrant rights demonstrators turned out in favor of amnesty and welcoming children refugees.
