Police seek person of interest in Los Lunas shooting

Los Lunas shooting

LOS LUNAS, N.M. (KRQE) – Police are now looking for a person of interest in last weekend’s fatal shooting in Los Lunas.

It happened early Sunday when police found 21-year-old Charles Davlin dead in an area off of Los Lentes Road.

Police in the car with him say they got into an argument with another group at the Allsups.

Police have now identified 30-year-old Randy Romero as a person of interest.

He’s the man police say was captured on surveillance video at the convenience store.

We’re told that helped link investigators to an address in Belen.

That is where they found an SUV matching the description of the suspect’s vehicle.

It’s now being processed for evidence.

Investigators say they already interviewed two other persons of interest, but they are still trying to locate Romero.
