ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – Nob hill’s annual Summerfest kicked off Friday with a jazz concert.
The concert at the Hiland Theater was the start of the three-day street festival which includes a lot of music.
On Saturday, 19 bands will play on three stages including the headliner Arrested Development, a hip hop group that was big in the ’90s.
Besides music, there’s food, a beer garden, arts and crafts for sale and an old Route 66 car show.
Summerfest means detours for drivers. On Saturday and Sunday, Central will be shut down to traffic between Girard and Washington.
ABQ Ride’s routes on Central are being redirected.
