Amber Alert cancelled for missing Okla. 5-month-old

State Police are assisting in the Amber Alert search for a missing 5-year-old that officials believe may be in danger.

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – A multi-state Amber Alert for a missing 5-month-old Oklahoma baby has been cancelled.

The Kingfisher County Sheriff’s Department in Oklahoma said the baby, Olivia Smith, was found safe in Seminole Texas early Friday morning. That’s just 30 miles outside of Hobbs.

The Amber Alert had been issued after investigators thought the girl’s great-aunt, Cindy Findley, abducted her.

Police said Findley has a mental condition, was possibly with another woman and trying to take the baby to Salt Lake City, Utah.

Kingfisher County Sheriff’s Department said they have conflicting reports on if an arrest was made.
