You know how dangerous texting and driving is, but if you ever have any doubt, here’s your chance to see it. Head to KRQE.com and there’s a texting and driving simulator. It’s from AT&T, which is taking a full-size simulator all across the country to teach teens a good lesson.

Santa Fe is trying to save money and reduce 9-1-1 calls…so now firefighters will be making house calls to folks who call for help four or more times per year. Most are elderly or seriously sick.

Today we’re hoping to learn more about a state police shooting from yesterday. Roxanne Torres was hit in a car near San Mateo and I-25.A source says she sped toward the officers. She got away and went to a hospital in Grants. She was then flown to UNMH in Albuquerque. Police say she should survive.

A lot of folks in Rio Rancho are worried about all this rain and flooding from it. Parts of Northern near Rainbow have been flooded recently because of all the rain we’re getting it. Neighbors say the county should redo part of Northern that goes through an arroyo, but the county says it doesn’t have the money for it.
