Phone service out for Jemez Valley residents

SAN YSIDRO, N.M. (KRQE) – Phone service for the Jemez Valley is out for residents in San Ysidro to the La Cueva area Wednesday.

Officials say the phone service provider is aware of the problem and is working to restore service.

If you are need of emergency services and are unable to contact 911 with your phone or cell phone you are advised to go to the following locations for assistance.

La Cueva and north Jemez Springs: La Cueva main fire station
Jemez Pueblo and south Jemez Springs: Jemez pueblo EMS or the police station in Jemez pueblo.
Canon, Ponderosa, San Ysidro: San Ysidro Marshall’s office
