NM inmate jumps head-first from railing


DONA ANA COUNTY, N.M. (KRQE) – A female inmate was hospitalized Wednesday after she jumped from the second-floor railing at Doña Ana County Detention Center.

Officials say the 24-year-old woman jumped head-first and landed on the concrete floor below.

At this time officials have not released her name.

Information about the woman’s condition has not been released.
