Mark’s Wednesday Evening Weather Report

After widespread storms in the Albuquerque metro area this afternoon we are now getting a break as we head into the overnight hours. But that Break may not last all that long. The chance for storms will continue as we head into the early morning hours where light to moderate rain remains a possibility.

On Thursday the thunderstorm crop looks good once again from the continental divide all the way east to the state line. Here in the metro area scattered to numerous storms will once again be possible and they could dump some meaningful rain. At the Sunport today we picked up .94 inches of rain. This leaves us over 2″ of rain for the month of July and we’ve still got half the month to go.
