Growing mural focuses on seed preservation

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – You can be part of a unique art exhibit in New Mexico while bringing awareness about the importance of native seeds.

Seeds, a collection of voice, is the first of its kind project focused on seed preservation.

It will involve the public putting together a mural, made completely from ancient or native seeds.

There’s been an effort in recent years to protect the purity of native seeds and make sure their bounty is available to future generations.

Next month, you can help build the mural at the Open Space Visitors Center off Coors.
