TRUTH OR CONSEQUENCES, N.M. (KRQE) – A man accused of killing a motorcyclist on I-25 near T or C is charged with vehicular homicide and DWI.

State police say 26-year-old Enrique Portillo rear-ended the rider just before 5:00 Wednesday morning south of the Williamsburg exit.

The victim, 69-year-old Isidro Blea, was thrown from his motorcycle and died at the scene.

Officials say he was not wearing a helmet.
