Officers say Zachary Fogler is approaching area bank customers with a bad check asking them to cash it for him.

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – APD is sending out a warning about a man scamming people at area banks.

Officers say Zachary Fogler can be seen in surveillance photos waiting outside banks when he tries to convince customers he’ll pay them for cashing checks for him.

Of course the checks, usually made out for hundreds of dollars, are fake and they bounce a few days later.

Police say Fogler has been arrested several times for similar scams.

If you know where he is, call Crime Stoppers at 843-STOP.
