Intel credits strong demand for 2nd quarter increase

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – Some good news for a company that employs hundreds in New Mexico.

Tuesday Intel announced its second-quarter financial results, were well above expectations because there was strong demand for chips in PCs and computer servers.

Intel says net income rose 40-percent.
