Mark’s Friday Evening Weather Report

We’ve had indications for awhile that this could be a pretty good monsoon season.  Now that is beginning to play out. For fifth straight day rain fell here the Albuquerque metro area. On Saturday storms will fire again in central and western sections of the state, but the east will be left out. That all changes on Sunday with a wet cold front plowing into the state and fueling state wide storms.

Sunday will just be the beginning of a wet stretch of days across the area. Monday through much of next week crops of storms will cover most of the state. Everyone won’t get wet everyday but the overall storm outbreak will be significant and widespread. Take a look at the five-day model projections on how much rain we could see.  This is a very promising sign going forward.
