Water main break shuts down ABQ intersection

Water authority OKs rate increase

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – A water main break has crews busy Wednesday.

Water Authority officials say the 6” water main broke Wednesday afternoon at the intersection of Carlisle and Indian School leaving home and businesses in the area without water.

The water outage is expected to last another couple of hours as crews fix the break.

Some lanes on Carlisle and Indian School are closed and commuters are advised to avoid the area through out the night and into the morning.
