Mark’s Wednesday Evening Weather Report

Scattered storms will continue to favor western and northern sections of the state over the next few days. With high-pressure sitting over New Mexico the overall crop of storms is definitely not as big as we would like to see it. Because of the high position the west and north will see scattered storms while the southeastern even the metro areas are likely to stay largely dry.

The spotty storm activity should hold into the beginning of next week. Highs will top out in the low 90s with lows mainly in the 60s. Things definitely get more promising around the middle of next week. Take a look below at the 7 to 14 day precip trend. It shows a major-league uptick in storms state wide late next week as high pressure loses it’s grip on the state.
