Another earthquake strikes state border

LORDSBURG, N.M. (KRQE) – Another earthquake has struck near the Arizona-New Mexico border.

The U.S. Geological Survey says the magnitude-3.6 quake struck at about 2 a.m. Wednesday about 26 miles northwest of Lordsburg.

A geophysicist from the area says two people about 10 miles away reported feeling it.

A little more than a week ago, there was a 5.2 quake in the same area.

That one could be felt as far east as El Paso.
