ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – One of Albuquerque’s most dangerous drivers is back in jail again, less than a week after News 13 showed you how she almost killed someone else while behind the wheel.
Miranda Pacheco was thrown in jail Tuesday after testing positive for alcohol while on probation.
She’s on probation for stealing a woman’s purse.
A few years ago she was speeding and weaving in and out of traffic on Paseo near the river, flew off the highway, and killed a bicyclist who was well off the road on a bike path.
Last week News 13 discovered she was driving without a license in mid June, passed out behind the wheel, drove the wrong way on Eubank and crashed into an auto glass shop.
That prompted the widow of the bicyclist she killed to speak out again.
Police are still waiting on blood test results from Pacheco’s crash on Eubank before they can charge her with another DWI.
