ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – The postal inspector said they have no suspects in the exploding mailbox cases.
Four mailboxes were blown up this weekend in Albuquerque. Detectives say it appears someone lit fireworks and tossed them inside.
The inspector said it appears at least three of the cases are related.
While officials said a juvenile was being questioned this weekend, the postal inspector said no arrests have been made.
If mail was destroyed, the case would be federal. If not, local authorities would handle the case.
Right now the two agencies are working together.
