Craig Snow talks NMHU Hoops

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – He’s ready for the rigors of long bus riders and other challenges that come with running a division two basketball program.

New Mexico Highlands new men’s basketball coach Craig Snow spoke to the media Monday about his new job. The former Lobo assistant says he took the job because of the opportunity to lead a program.

Snow was athletic director and head basketball coach at Bosque School before becoming a Lobo assistant.

Snow believes he can have success at Highlands.

“At the high school level I had the experience that you pretty much have to form your style of play based on your personel whereas at the college level you can recruit to that,” said Snow. “I think this first year is going to be a mixture of both. I think long term we will be an uptempo team, an offensive team that’s going to be very hard to guard.”
