Western music, cowboy poetry fill Old Town
Old Town visitors gathered Saturday to enjoy western music and cowboy poetry.

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – It was all about cowboy boots and country music in Old Town Saturday afternoon.

If you were at the plaza for Western Day you were able to hear music and poetry from here in the Wild West.

Visitors and performers say the celebration is a perfect outlet to celebrate their unique traditions.

The event is hosted every year by the Western Music Association of New Mexico and the city in part to help teach younger generations the state’s cultural history.
