Alex Guerrero in rehab after ear-biting incident

Isotopes ear biting victim on the mend

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – The ear is going to make it.

That’s the word from the agent for Albuquerque Isotope Alex Guerrero.

A large chunk of the infielder’s left ear was bitten off in a dugout brawl with former teammate Miguel Olivo nearly six weeks ago.

The Dodgers cut Olivo afterwards.

They say Guerrero, who’s a big-time prospect from Cuba, is now rehabbing at their facility in Phoenix getting ready to get back on the diamond.

Guerrero had plastic surgery to reattach the piece Olivo bit off. provides commenting to allow for constructive discussion on the stories we cover.
