FCC chairman to hold public discussion

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – Students in Albuquerque are getting a chance to talk with Tom Wheeler, the chairman of the Federal Communications Commission.

Wheeler is participating in a panel discussion Monday on net neutrality, rural broadband access and recent telecommunication mergers.

The event is being put on by the Media Literacy Project and the New Mexico Digital Justice Coalition at the South Broadway Cultural Center in Albuquerque at 6:30 p.m.

The public is welcome.
