Man crashes into house, charged with child abuse

A man who crashed into house is now also facing child abuse charges.

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – An Albuquerque man is in jail Saturday after police say he crashed into a house with a child in the back seat.

Police say after 24-year-old Danny Baca crashed into the home Friday near Isleta Boulevard and Perry southwest, he denied being involved

But according to a criminal complaint, an undercover officer witnessed the crash and saw Baca walking out of the Ford Taurus.

Police say the kid did not fit in his car seat and was filthy.

Police say Baca admitted to having one shot.

The child is with CYFD and it’s unclear if Baca is the father.

Baca is charged with child abuse and had warrant out for his arrest.
