Firefighters quickly extinguished a fire after an abandoned RV caught fire.

BERNALILLO COUNTY, N.M. (KRQE) – An RV is now a charred mess.

An RV on the side of Highway 333 east of Tramway and I-40 burnt.

Bernalillo County firefighters say this fire was spreading to the weeds.

Firefighters don’t know if anyone was inside but witnesses say the RV was parked.
