Chris’ Saturday Evening Forecast

An area of high pressure is taking control of our weather which means very hot temperatures are on the way!  Temperatures will be 5-10° above average for the weekend and into early next week.   Highs will be in the mid 90s today in Albuquerque then close to 100° if not even hitting the century mark in Albuquerque on Monday.

It looks like there is a chance to get the monsoon flow going by the end of the week into the 4th of July weekend.  The area of high pressure that will be keeping us hot and dry this weekend will eventually move east.   This will allow a cold front to move in by mid-week, which could spark scattered storms.
