ESPANOLA, N.M. (KRQE) – Two more arrests were made in the assault that landed a city councilor in jail for allegedly pistol-whipping and shooting at a man.

Santa Fe Sheriff’s deputies say 51-year-old Samuel Garcia and 29-year-old Benjamin Duran were with Española city councilor Eric Radosevich last weekend when the group assaulted a man.

It started at a gas station in Pojoaque when deputies say Duran started harassing the victim’s wife.

When the victim tried to drive away, the men chased the couple in a truck Radosevich was driving.

Detectives say when the victim stopped at a nearby restaurant; Radosevich pistol-whipped the man, and then shot at his truck, hitting it twice.

No one was injured.
